Yea, good post. You realy have little choice but to wonder if Bilic knows what he is doing by starting Nolan, an outrageous decision that left many questioing the man, and rightly so.
Btw, I'm glad he never reached 100 goals. Fuck him.

I was shocked, genuinely shocked that Bilic started with Nolan. It puts a new manager in a very bad light that in his second and third games he drags off three players by half time for tactical reasons. I don't think I've ever seen this happen before and it suggests a manager who is very unsure of his players and best XI.
I was happy for Bilic to join us, but after some strange decision making capped by the idiotic choice of Nolan on Saturday makes me seriously question his capacity to handle a Premier league club.
Let's face it, you'd only have to see Nolan in training to realise that the lumbering lump is so slow and un-athletic that his days in the top flight are years behind him. He's so out of shape and heavy legged that he'd probably struggle in League 1.
In common with all fans I desperately want Bilic to succeed. But if he ever again plays Nolan (especially alongside Noble) then he, and we, are screwed.

i think bilic wanted to see if all the rumours about nolan were true. its just a surprise that he did not take him off within 5 minutes.

I wonder how many players have got the hump that Nolan gets a start - players like Morrison, Zarate last season, Josh Cullen and obviously The Jewel on Saturday.
They must wonder how come a fat cunt like Nolan gets 45 minutes on the pitch and only gets 9 touches of the ball. That performance isn't something that has only just started happening, it was the same last season.
Plus he trousers 50 bags a week - that can't help.
